The first season of the "Overwatch" Competitive Play is not yet over, but plans about "Overwatch" Season 2 has already been talked about. Game forums are technically helpful when it comes to news about upcoming games and the "Overwatch" Season 2 has recently joined in.
In the latest gaming forum, "Overwatch" game director Jeff Kaplan announced that the 1 Hero per team is not going anywhere. As opposed to rumors that it will not be the same for the second season, Kaplan saw the positive response from gamers that they decided to leave it for next season.
Players who have acquired their gaming points in the first season will still able to enjoy them in "Overwatch" Season 2 as it will be carried out when it resumes. Meanwhile, as Season 1 ends on August 18, players can expect rewards in the form of a special spray and player icon.
Take note that these special rewards are given to those who completed the placement matches in "Overwatch" Season 1. The rewards can be seen after the season and as soon as players login for the first time on "Overwatch" Season 2.

For the conversion of Skill Rating (SR) to Competitive Points (CP), the "Overwatch" Battle forum revealed that players will gain SR 0-39: 10 CPs, SR 40-45: 20 CPs, SR 46-49: 40 CPs, SR 50-52: 60 CPs, SR 53-55: 80 CPs, SR 56-59: 120 CPs, SR 60-64: 200 CPs and SR 65+: 300 CPs.
