The tyranny of his Royal Majesty George III, King of England gave reason to the war and justification to the blood-soaked battlefields of Lexington and Concord. The losses suffered during the battle of Bunker Hill have given "Doubt" his shadow.
Yet ordinary men of the colonies bid their women and children adieu and move towards a graveyard with unmarked headstones. The heroic Assassin is draped in his white cloak and perched owl-like on a tree preparing to strike at any moment. His presence brings hope, but a single man does not win wars.
The new multiplayer trailer for Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed III asks gamers to choose a side in the war. The trailer provides an in-depth look at the many in-game locales, characters types, abilities, perks, and modes. The game allows you to choose a perk before every match including a blender perk that makes a non-playable character your exact replica.
According to the trailer, the game has classic multiplayer modes such as the classic Deathmatch and also features the newly added co-op and team-based modes, which include Wolf Pack and Domination modes.
Wolf Pack mode places a team of players in a scenario where they must work together to assassinate 25 waves of A.I. targets. The mode will have a time limit for each round that will decrease as the players continue playing.
Assassin's Creed III is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and Microsoft Windows. The game releases in North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 30. The Wii U version will follow on Nov. 18 when the console launches and a Microsoft Windows version is next on Nov. 20.
