According to Parent Herald, an apparent fact that resounds around Valve's "Half-Life 3" is that it is actually not in development, and will most likely not be in the future. However, there are some that firmly believe in the company's tendency to release the game in about two years for a withholding reason.
Valve's "Half-Life 3" is anticipated on taking flight by 2018, due to the fact that the franchise will celebrate its 20th anniversary. After two decades of the game's existence, some believe that Valve has been simply hiding what is due for them behind the shadows all these years.
On the other hand, speculations rose on "Half-Life 3" being worked on to be VR-compatible, as to adjust to today's generation of hardware. As noted by Vine Report, Valve has not disclosed the details yet but is a possibility.
