"Persona 5," the Japanese role-playing game, showed some sneak peek of the game through a new gameplay trailer. The clips highlighted the attack power of main characters namely Protagonist, Makoto Niijima and Yusuke Kitagawa.
The game's developer, Atlus, released the trailer after showcasing the all-out attack powers of Anne Takamaki and Ryuji Sakamoto in earlier videos. In comparison, except for the fact that they are featuring different characters, there is really not much difference between the previous and new trailers.
This is because, the characters fight in almost the same way. They take advantage of their enemy's flaws and weaknesses in order to take them down quickly. In general, the gameplay shows the characters when they unleash an all-out attack, in a style that is typical with "Persona" dynamics.
The "Persona 5" game graphics and animations are stylish and anime-like which is one thing that fans like about the game. In addition, just like in "Persona 3" and "Persona 4," the story of the game will take place in the expanse of one school year.
The characters in the game will fight their supernatural opponents using their true being called Personas. The game mechanics is quite similar to the previous installments which were part of the Megami Tensei franchise. But of course, there would be upgrades and new game elements in "Persona 5."
"The people who've played it have been pleased with it, but we won't settle down until we complete the game," Gematsu quoted director Katsura Hashino as saying in an Interview. "The game is packed with picaresque Roman elements that the player experiences themselves."
"Persona 5" is coming to Japan on Sept. 15 and it was announced by Deep Silver on Twitter that the scheduled release date for North America and Europe is on Feb. 14, 2017. The game would be available on PS3 and PS4 console platforms.
