'Transformers: The Last Knight Release Date, News & Update: Mercedes-AMG GT-R Will Be Autobot Drift; Crosshairs and Hound Return!

As "Transformers: The Last Knight" is now in production, Michael Bay is continuously updating his followers with pictures of the robots on her Twitter page. Aside from that, people behind the film already gave a glimpse of some of the cars that will be turned into androids, like the Mercedes-AMG GT-R.

Autobot Drift

A Mercedes-AMG GT-R was seen on the set of "Transformers: The Last Knight" filming near Webberville, Michigan. The grand tourer coupé will be the Autobot Drift, which is first seen in "Transformers: Age of Extinction" as a black-and-blue Bugatti Veyron Grand Sports Vitesse, as per Autoblog.

Drift will still be seen as a samurai in its unconcealed form and will be up for a color change in "Transformers: The Last Knight." In its Veyron appearance, it will be "relatively stock" compared to the looks of Bumblebee and Barricade. The lime-green-and-black Chevrolet Corvette Z06, on the other hand, will be the Lone Sniper. But, as he is a new addition to the movie franchise, details about this character are scarce.

The Most Excellent Final 'Transformers' Film

Meanwhile, Michael Bay has been teasing the coming of "Transformers: The Last Knight" next summer. Cinema Blend reported the 51-year-old filmmaker is doing his best to make this last installment for the "Transformers" series will be the most excellent. Fans are about to see the return of the renowned characters and robots, plus the new additions of stars and androids.
