"No Man's Sky" is not a multiplayer game, at least that's the one thing that game developer Hello Games wanted their fans to know. Disappointed? We won't blame you, after all the quintillion space said to be part of the "No Man's Sky" might have meant something; something that tells, you need to be with someone in exploring the intergalactic space.
In a recent twitter post by Hello Game's Season Murray, he said "To be super clear - 'No Man's Sky' is not a multiplayer game. Please don't go in looking for that experience." Does that mean, chances of meeting somebody out of the quintillion space is basically zero?

Apparently, the thing that lets players think, they're bound to meet other players in "No Man's Sky" is the fact that it's explorable and players will be all over these spaces. Murray made it clear that some of the features of the intergalactic space and the Easter Eggs that were placed in there basically lets players know that, they are in the same Universe as the others, but will never meet.
Did Murray just let the fans down? Because really, telling them that "No Man's Sky" has nothing to do with piloting freighters, pvp multiplayer, building civilizations and city building is just the final blow. So what is there to expect of "No Man's Sky?" Murray said, "No Man's Sky" is not a multiplayer, but it's about surviving the intergalactic space. He also added that it is a "procedural sci-fi-space-survival-sandbox... and it's a very very chill game." According to Gamespot, the things that fan" is expected of the game might be the "No Man's Sky" in the future, but not now.
