The cute but very engaging "Pokemon Go" game has been enjoyed by selected countries since its release last month and, now, the game is expanding its location as it was released for Asian Pokemon trainers last week. Of course, the number of Pokemon Go players surged higher making the game one of the most popular game of this generation.
The Southeast Asian leg of "Pokemon Go" included 15 countries, which include Federated States of Micronesia, Philippines, Palau, Malaysia, Fiji, Vietnam, Solomon Islands, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Laos, Taiwan, Indonesia, Cambodia and Brunei. When "Pokemon Go" was only released last month to selected countries, Asian fans of Pokemon Go were saddened and were very jealous of the Pokemon trainers residing in the selected countries.
Of course, the developers of "Pokemon Go" were keen enough to hear the incessant requests of "Pokemon Go" fans in Asia and finally gave in to their requests to make the game available in Asian countries. There are two Asian countries which do not have access (yet) to "Pokemon Go" and they are India and China.
China is expected to have some reservations in allowing "Pokemon Go" to be accessed in their country because the government is quite picky in allowing certain apps, games and websites in entering the country. India, on the other hand, is not as strict as China and Indonesian "Pokemon Go" fans may be able to play "Pokemon Go" soon.
Last week, Niantic has explained why the release of the virtually augmented game in India has been delayed. It was reportedly because of some issues pertaining to third party services in the country. Apparently, Niantic doesn't simply want to release "Pokemon Go" in India for the sake of making the game available to the fans. The company also wants to give quality visuals and game play which would need to have an excellent third-party back up and sources. As of now, there are still no updates as to when Pokemon Go will be made available to India and China.
