"Suicide Squad" has only been released last week, but fans are already looking forward to the rumored spinoff films starring The Joker. Jared Leto is also excited about the DC Extended Universe movie, and he wants to see the Clown Prince of Crime working with Ben Affleck's Batman!
Jared Leto Wants The Joker To Be In The Same Team As Batman In DCEU's "Suicide Squad" Spinoff?
There was a significant lack of Joker presence in "Suicide Squad". Nevertheless, Jared Leto believes that the DCEU film presented more opportunities for the Clown Prince of Crime. Like perhaps, a team up with Batffleck.
Jared Leto recently sat down with BBC Radio 5, where he spoke about which DCEU character he would like to see The Joker work with.
"I think that the most compelling character to team up with would be Batman,” Leto responded. He immediately pointed out that the Dark Knight is "not a villain." Nevertheless, he still thinks the DCEU tag team "would just be so much fun."
It is highly unlikely that the Caped Crusader will ever be in the same team as The Joker. However, Jared Leto believes that there should be more of his DCEU villain in the future. It may have a lot to do with the several deleted scenes from "Suicide Squad".

Game & Guide has previously reported about Jared Leto's reaction to the almost Joker-less theatrical cut of "Suicide Squad". The Academy Award winner lamented over the fact that "a lot of experimentation" happened on the "Suicide Squad" set but didn't end up in the film.
But is there a future for Jared Leto's Joker in DCEU films? Fans can only hope to see more of the Clown Prince of Crime in the "Suicide Squad" spinoff movie.
