'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Robert Kirkman Reveals How Next Season Will End?

There are a lot of things to look forward to in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. However, another jaw-dropping cliffhanger is not one of them. "TWD" comic book creator Robert Kirkman has just confirmed that the seventh season will have a more satisfying conclusion.

Fans were expecting to see a recreation of a comic book scene in "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale. The scene was none other than Negan's shocking introduction to Rick and his group, which led to Glenn's gory death. However, the episode was cut just as Jeffrey Dean Morgan's villain chose a victim.

Fans were understandably upset over "The Walking Dead' Season 6 finale cliffhanger. Well, "upset" would be an understatement. However, Robert Kirkman wants everyone to know it won't happen again in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

So yes, the cliffhanger from "TWD" Season 6 was probably the WORST idea ever. Luckily, Robert Kirkman and the writers now know better than to repeat the whole thing in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

"I think everyone on 'The Walking Dead' creative team has taken note of that, and I don't know that I would expect a similar cliffhanger at the end of Season 7," Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly. In addition to that, he admitted that "TWD" is working on adapting the storyline in a better way.

"We're always just sitting down and trying to tell the best stories and do the best job of adapting my material from the comic," Kirkman shared. Hopefully, this would mean that the show will avoid the cliffhangers that drive the fans crazy.

There is still no clue on who Negan killed in the "TWD" Season 6 finale. However, fans will finally find out when "The Walking Dead" Season 7 airs on AMC on October 23.
