Treyarch Shows First Image of Nuketown 2025 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Treyarch decided to do eager Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 fans a solid, and popped up the first view of the new Nuketown map online. Check it out below!

Just like the Fallout series, it seems like the 50's hairdos are back in style.

Treyarch first announced the Nuketown 2025 map as being available through pre-order of the special editions back in July. Translation, if you're all set to get the "Hardened" or "Care Package" editions, you get the map. And the map will also be available cross-platform, so there won't be any of that exclusive-access-30-day-window nonsense.

The map is a remake of the Nuketown map which first appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops. One of the smallest maps, it focused on close quarters combat, and was a bit claustrophobic. Despite the small adjustments to the new map, combat likely won't change too much in the "new" map.
Nuketown 2025 will also feature as a bonus map in Black Ops 2's zombie mode, which is great for any zombie fans who like the old '50's look.

In addition to the first look at the map, Treyarch and Activision have also announced that anyone who has pre-ordered the game will also get access to a double XP weekend on November 16. So not only will it give players a nice little boost, but it's a fitting way to celebrate the game's launch.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on Nov. 13. The title will also be released eventually on Nintendo's upcoming console, the Wii U.
