'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Theory: Daenerys Targaryen And Her Dragons Die To Save Westeros?

Daenerys Targaryen is finally on her way to Westeros to claim the Iron Throne. But will the Mother of Dragons finally become the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms? Or will she end up having to sacrifice herself to save everyone from the White Walkers in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?

The "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale revealed that Daenerys Targaryen already has powerful allies who will make sure she takes the Iron Throne. The sweeping view of the Iron Fleet together with the sight of the three dragons flying overhead was enough to confirm that Dany will be ready in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. But will she live long enough to rule Westeros>

Daenerys Targaryen Will Use Her Dragons To Defeat The White Walkers In "Game Of Thrones" Season 7?

It certainly looks like Daenerys Targaryen is the only one equipped to take on the White Walkers in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. There are speculations that the Mother of Dragons will bring Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal to battle the Others. But will she survive the fight?

Some believe that the only way to truly defeat the White Walkers is to extinguish magic in Westeros (via iDigital Times). This means no more resurrections, spells or dragons. Once magic is removed from the Seven Kingdoms, the White Walkers will cease to exist. Unfortunately, it looks like the dragons will need to die to save Westeros in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

So does this mean Daenerys Targaryen will save Westeros by sacrificing herself and her dragons in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? It is highly unlikely that Dany will die anytime soon. The Mother of Dragons still needs to take the Iron Throne from Cersei Lannister. In addition to that, there is still plenty of trouble to look forward to when the show returns to HBO next summer.
