"Supergirl" season 2 set photos and videos revealed Clark Kent's fight sequence, ultimately unveiling his opponent. While the casting of Supergirl's cousin was met by criticism across the web, fans can't help but hope for more details regarding The Man of Steel.
Superman Vs. Metallo
A new superman portrayed by "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Hoechlin will appear on "Supergirl" season 2. A video taken overlooking the set of "Supergirl" season 2 revealed Superman in action, Screenrant reported. The scene, which was taken in Vancouver, showed Superman and a familiar villain in combat. From the video below, it is hard to detect if Hoechlin himself is the one doing the scene or their stunt doubles. Check out Superman and Metallo fight scene below.

While Metallo should probably look more cyborg than what you can see in the video, the green glowing stone strapped on his chest should give it away. That's the trademark look of Metallo. The appearance of Metallo could definitely turn the tables for "Supergirl" season 2.
Who Is Metallo?
It appears that Superman will be fighting Metallo in "Supergirl" season 2. Metallo already made appearances in comic books, animated series and even on small screen. Metallo is an evil cyborg with a Kryptonite heart. ComicBook noted that Brian Austin Green brought Metallo to life for a short while in "Smallville." However, the website noted that this is the first time that Metallo appeared in serious combat.
While Metallo may not be as popular as Lex Luthor or Doomsday, he has enough backstory that could span multiple-episode arc. Aside from the video, there are also still photos that suggest that Superman may see more of Superman in "Supergirl" season 2. "Supergirl" season 2 will air on Monday, October 10 on The CW.
