WWE Rumors 2016: Big Show Confirms Wrestlemania 33 Match With Shaquille O’ Neal

Big Show may have just spilled the beans on the status of his celebrated match against Shaquille O’Neal at Wrestlemania 33. The WWE star was doing a promotional tour in Shanghai, China for the 9/10 house show.

Shaq-Show card confirmed for Wrestlemania 33

Also known as Paul Wright Jr., was interviewed by the Shanghai Daily tackling several aspects of his WWE career. Wright hasn’t been that visible as of late and the best association with him right now is that showdown with the NBA legend.

Based on one segment of that interview, Show’s response technically confirmed the match as taking place in Orlando next year.

“We’ll have one heck of a match and we’ll see what’s up. We’ll give the fans a treat.”

Wrestlemania-like atmosphere in Shanghai this September

Aside from promoting the WWE event which takes place on Sept. 10 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, the Big Show also revealed that he will be pitted in a match against John Cena. And from the looks of it, Show is looking forward to that matchup as well.

“This is like a Wrestlemania for Shanghai. If you’re a WWE fan, you definitely want to be there. If you’re not sure and want to learn more, you want to be part of this premier event.”

Wrestlemania 33 match may be Big Show’s last

Big Show has been in the wrestling entertainment scene for almost 21 years now. His appearance on shows has been limited lately but Wright isn’t really complaining.

He admits being at the twilight of his career with retirement possible at any time. While that remains unsettled, White is fine helping out the WWE with promotions, tours and select matches since it allows him to spend time with his family.

If his match with Shaquille O’Neal at Wrestlemania 33 is the last one, it could be a fitting end to the career for the larger than life wrestler.
