What's not to love about "Stranger Things"? The series was a love letter to everything '80s, from Stephen King's novels to Steven Spielberg's films. So why hasn't Netflix announced "Stranger Things" Season 2?
The Duffer brothers Matt and Ross recently discussed the possibility of "Stranger Things" Season 2. The show creators confirmed that Netflix hasn't ordered a second season just yet. However, they are in no hurry to get back to work so soon.
"We finished this a week before it was out in the world, so right now we're relaxing a bit," Ross told Rolling Stone. However, that doesn't mean that they are not looking forward to "Stranger Things" Season 2.
"We also have hope that we'll get to continue the story for at least a little longer," Ross concluded. So what could happen next in "Stranger Things" Season 2?
Will Eleven Return In "Stranger Things" Season 2?
It's hard to imagine "Stranger Things" Season 2 without Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven. Although the character disappeared while fighting the monster in the season finale, fans are hoping that El will return. Some are theorizing that Eleven survived her fight and is set for a major comeback in the second season.
Netflix has not yet confirmed "Stranger Things" Season 2. However, fans are expecting the second season to air by summer next year.
