Ever since Pokemon Go has been released last month, more feet hit the ground as players of the newest Pokemon craze searched to catch the mythical creatures. Admittedly, walking around the neighborhood or town can be quite tiring, especially if only one or two Pokemon are caught.
At first, playing Pokemon Go was fairly easy, but thanks to the new tweaks and updates rolled out by Niantic, catching Pokemon became quite challenging. The latest known update to Pokemon Go removed the "nearby" mode which was really upsetting to the players. Aside from that, Pokemon Go has also disconnected all links to third party tracking sites.
Due to the increased difficulty of playing Pokemon Go, players are turning to the internet and browsing community forums on how to continue playing Pokemon Go without exerting too much effort. It is, just a game, after all - meant to be enjoyed and not a source of stress.
Thankfully, there is a way to work around Pokemon Go's location restrictions and that is by simply using a smartphone's GPS. This Pokemon Go cheat reportedly lets users catch Pokemon without even having to leave their house. All the lazy Pokemon Go players must have their eyes twitching by now.
Niantic has already expressed their views that using GPS tricks to find and capture Pokemon is seriously considered as cheating. Once a user is caught cheating, they will be punished to the extent of being permanently banned from playing Pokemon Go. The GPS cheating technique of Pokemon Go works by mainly relying on the hardware rather than the data received.
In the customized software, Google Earth plays a vital role as it enables players to find and catch Pokemon without actually walking a single step. This certain cheat was discovered and developed by Stefan Kiese and requires players to use a box that is heavily shielded from radio frequency. The box is called HackRF and can be bought for $300.
