"Game Of Thrones" Season 7 Theory: Euron Greyjoy Teams Up With Cersei Lannister?
In "Game of Thrones" Season 6, Euron Greyjoy claimed the Salt Throne at the kingsmoot. Although he planned to kill Theon and Yara Greyjoy to ensure his title, the two managed to escape with the Islands' best ships.
Nevertheless, Euron ordered the remaining Ironborn to build more ships so they could conquer Westeros. Will he meet Cersei Lannister in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?
Euron Greyjoy originally intended to pursue Daenerys Targaryen so he can use her dragons to take the Seven Kingdoms. However, the Mother of Dragons is now allied with Theon and Yara and already on her way to Westeros. It certainly looks like Euron will have to go with Plan B in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
But what is Plan B in "Game of Thrones" Season 7? There are speculations that Euron Greyjoy will try build an alliance with Cersei Lannister since she already has the Iron Throne (via Movie News Guide).
In addition to that, they both need a bigger army to defeat Daenerys Targaryen. However, they might have different motives in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
Cersei Lannister might simply want to defeat Daenerys Targaryen so she can keep the Iron Throne. However, Euron Greyjoy might have plans for her dragons in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
In George R.R. Martin's book series "A Song of Ice and Fire", Euron has a dragon horn that he plans to use on Dany's dragons. In the novel "The Winds of Winter", he is already preparing to leave the Iron Islands.
