‘Half-Life 3’ Release Date, News & Update: Game Coming Out in 2018 With Virtual Reality Support? More Features & Details Here

Billions of fans are now excited for the "Half-Life 3" release. For starters, Sierra Studious first released the game "Half Life" officially for Microsoft Windows in 1998. It was developed by Valve and the series began sometime in the 2000s, in New Mexico at the fictional Black Mesa Research Facility. The said game revolves around the character Gordon Freeman, who was recently employed as a theoretical physicist, is involved in studying a rare crystalline object.

Valve Corporation never said anything about the development of "Half-Life 3." According to reports, the mich-awaited game is set to be launched in 2018 with a Virtual Reality support already, according to an article by Master Herald.

Many speculations arise stating that the release of "Half-Life 3" will happen in 2018 as it will also be the 20th anniversary of the video game. There are also reports saying that one-third of valve's total work force is focused on the development of the game.

Valve Corporation is said to plan on making the necessary tweaks and major updates on the "Half-Life 3" gameplay. As a matter of fact, HTC, a Taiwanese tech company, and the Valve Corporation have recently worked together in the making of the HTC Vive or the virtual reality headset.

However, since VR gaming is not yet the mainstream gaming mode yet. It is possible that the full VR compatible "Half-Life 3" will be available by 2018 at the earliest.

All these remain as speculations until Valve Corporation will release its official statement, which has yet to confirm whether "Half-Life 3" will happen or not at all. Critics believe that it will probably take at least two years to complete in creating a good VR game, so 2018 might be the best time for release.
