Mass Effect Trilogy DLC Revealed

Bioware's recently announced Mass Effect Trilogy bundle will include some of the down loadable content, but how much players will receive depends on which platform the game is purchased for, according to a report on Eurogamer.

Eurogamer reports that PC gamers will receive the better selection of DLC including Mass Effect 1's Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station add-ons on-disc. Mass Effect 2 comes with DLC Cerberus Network and the teammate Zaeed Massani, plus a few extra missions and weapons. For Mass Effect 3, PC gamers will get the game's online pass.

The Xbox 360 version will have far less DLC and will not come with any of the original Mass Effect DLC, but will get both Mass Effect 2's Cerberus Network content and also Mass Effect 3's online pass.

The PlayStation 3 version currently has no details available and Bioware has only promised that more info would be coming "soon."

In addition, the game's release date has also been changed and will now be released in America on Nov. 6 for Xbox 360 and PC, while the date for the PS3 version has yet to be announced by Bioware or EA. International release dates have also not been announced.

Unfortunately the trilogy will not contain many of the series' best DLC content including the excellent Lair of the Shadow Broker, Overlord and Kasumi add-ons for Mass Effect 2, as well as Mass Effect 3's Leviathan and From Ashes.
