"The Flash” season 3 rumors continue to ramp up, thanks a lot to that recent trailer showing what to expect when the show returns in the fall. But what could this really mean for "The Flash" season 3?
Barry Allen aka The Flash (Grant Gustin) will see his parents (John Wesley Shipp and Michelle Harrison) together again though more senior due to time. Barry will still have his old job as a CSI for Central City though some relationships have changed.
Strained Relationships
That includes knowing Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) West which will no longer be as ‘tight’ as the regular timeline had them. Curiously, it will be Cisco (Carlos Valdes) who will run things at the renamed research facility, ‘Ramon Industries’.
There’s a new hero in town – “Kid Flash”
Keiynan Lonsdale will be the new hero in town with Barry technically a civilian. The “Reverse Flash” is still around and chances are that he isn’t the only one. In the teaser trailer, ‘Alchemy’ was notable in one of Barry’s flashback. Movie Pilot teased that the it could be a role portrayed by newcomer Tom Felton.
The association of his character (Julian Dorn) is a bit off to “Dr. Alchemy” though the identity disorder the villain carries fits in perfectly. Will Felton be portraying a dual-identity in “Flash” season 3?
Will Barry forget the past?
In what he calls as something similar to “Back to the Future”, Barry is the only one who knows the difference on his actions. According to Screen Rant, Grant revealed that Barry will be slowly forgetting the original timeline, thus adding more drama to “Flashpoint”.
In what is turning out to be a bigger mess, “Flash” season 3 is shaping up to be a long road of ever getting the timeline back to what it should be. “Flash” season 3 returns on CW on Oct. 4 with lots of twists caused by Allen when he saved his mother in the season 2 finale.
