Halo 4's developer 343 Industries continues to assault gamers with videos and images of the upcoming first-person shooter. The developer has unveiled Ragnarok, a remake of the legendary pseudo-Blood Gluch or as it was named in Halo 3, Valhalla.
The multiplayer map will allow all sorts of great vehicle combat including the usual Banshees and Ghosts, but Halo 4 will also introduced a new vehicle to the Halo universe: The Mantis.
The Mantis is a mech with machine-guns rockets, and a foot-stomp that can smash small vehicles and your opponents to mush. The bipedal robot destroys a Banshee flying overhead with ease in the new trailer and seems to be effective against all other vehicles.
The trailer also shows what will ultimately be a fan favorite moment, two mech going up against each other in awesome robotic combat. But ethe new vehicle isn't invulnerable and the trailer shows that other vehicles can inflict damage on the Mantis and bomb it to pieces. It also appears that Spartans on foot can board hijack it or place a grenade inside to bomb it.
Halo 4 will release worldwide on Nov. 6 with the exclusion of Japan where the game will be released on Nov. 8. The game will release for the Xbox 360 and will be the first numbered iteration of the series to be developed by 343 Industries rather than Halo creator Bungie.
