The third installment of the “Avengers” isn’t due until 2018 so changes are only normal. Considering however the latest round of rumors is tied up to the official working title, a lot of wild ideas come to mind.
As everyone knows, the original plan was for “Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1”. This offering will be two parts but it looks like Disney and Marvel decided to add some flare to the title. If not, the Marvel Studios may have come up with something different which may not immediately call for a two-part movie.
“Avengers: Infinity Wars” fit as just one movie?
According to Deadline, the title of the movie will instead be “Avengers: Infinity War” while the follow-up which comes in 2019 will be known as “‘Untitled’ Avengers” for now. Does this mean that the whole “Infinity War” storyline can be covered in just one film? Not entirely.
One thing worth noting is that “Avengers 3” will be handled by Anthony and Joe Russo. They take over from Josh Whedon who departed after “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. With the change in the directors’ seat, the change had already been confirmed as early as May.
It may not totally about the “Infinity Gauntlet” but instead a massive gathering of Marvel superheroes fighting for one cause. Either way, it will still be “Thanos” looming as the ultimate villain of the upcoming movie flicks.
Right now, the best folks can do is make their own guesses. The only thing certain however is that Marvel has something brewing and it could be massive.
Likely sure to appear are Robert Downey Jr. (“Iron Man”), Chris Pratt (“Star-Lord”), Chris Evans (“Captain America”), Chris Hemsworth (“Thor”) and Elizabeth Olsen (“Scarlet Witch”). If the movie will be massive, it would be safe to assume that Mark Ruffalo (“Hulk”), Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”) and Samuel L. Jackson (“Nick Fury”) will be appearing too.
There are of course more names to add to that list but unless something major changes, all are most likely to appear.
