‘Pokemon GO' News & Updates: The Game May Just Be The Dating App You've Been Looking For

Dating Sites Ties Up to the ‘Pokemon GO' Game

The "Pokemon GO" craze is not yet over and it looks like, the game is already venturing on a new dealing. According to reports, several dating sites have reached out to the "Pokemon GO" and has subtly tied up with the game in order to to make their presence known among the Poke players.

The Project Fixup for example, is one online dating site that claims, they do things literally; putting their "clients" on a blind date. By getting permissions to take the client's personal information online, they're able to fix single man and women on a blind date.

Now, the "Pokemon GO" couldn't be more perfect as it literally brings people outside of their homes, on their free will and mingle with the rest of the Pokemon players outside. According to TechCrunch, the Chicago-based startup has initially launched the Pokedates, taking the desire to play "Pokemon GO" as their mutual preferences. While Project Fixup usually charge its clients $20 for a single meetup, using the code POKEDATES2016 will give them a one time free access to the feature.

The Pokematch on the other hand has a similar route as Tinder only, it caters to single men and women who have the same desire to play the "Pokemon GO" game. In just four days of its Pokemon dating feature, the company already claims 10,000 matchups; not bad for another startup dating company. Co-founder Pim de Witte said "We're seeing insane growth. Something I've never seen before is happening to us, and it is feeling kind of surreal."
