WWE 2K17 is ramping up preparations for its highly anticipated release this Oct. 11, with most wanting to know who will comprise this year’s video game edition.
In a previous post, some stars were already confirmed as appearing. That list included John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Sasha Banks, Apollo Crews, Shinsuke Nakamura and Nia Jax. Bill Goldberg and “The Ultimate Warrior” have also been confirmed as they complete the first batch of WWE stars for WWE 2K17.
Back then, it was touch-and-go as far as figuring out who else would join the first batch. Stars like Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and AJ Styles are expected to follow though nothing has been confirmed as we speak.
What is WWE 2K17 without the “McMahons”!
Instead, three notable figures have been confirmed with the confirmation that Vince, Stephanie, and Shane McMahon have been added as playable characters for the coming game, WWE.com reported.
Branded as the most powerful family in sports-entertainment, Stephanie McMahon spilled the beans on the WWE first family’s participation and bared that more updates will be happening in the coming weeks.

Will they wrestle or call the shots?
One thing notable is that the McMahon family can either wrestle or manage shows. By now most are aware that Stephanie is the commissioner of Raw while Shane is the one controlling Smackdown.
On that note, it will be interesting if Mick Foley (Raw) and Daniel Bryan (Smackdown) will be added as well. The WWE Draft could have a hand in the upcoming weekly reveals, meaning gamers may have to stay tuned on the developments of the shows moving forward.
The belief right now is that the WWE 2K17 roster will be massive, more than the 150 characters WWE 2K16 had to offer (without duplicates). The shows have a lot of talent plus rumored returnees such as Shelton Benjamin and MVP. Will all of these be factored in?
