And who said penguins couldn't fly? It's like watching "Goon" without Jay Burchel acting like a masshole. OK, so maybe it's not as violent as say, chasing down the opposing team with a mace like in Mutant League Hockey, but you gotta admit, it's pretty impressive watching these guys fly through the air.
With the NHL now five weeks deep in a lockout, hits like this are the only hockey highlights you'll be watching on YouTube for a while. EA's NHL '13 set franchise records after it's release earlier this month, and with hits like this, it's not hard to see why.
According to EA, NHL '13's sales are up 9% compared to NHL '12, and more than 3.7 million online games were played in the first week since the game's release.
Someone tell me if there's a video of someone hercules checking Gretzkey, or if I have to settle for watching Vince Vaughn in "Swingers" so I can see little Wayne's head bleed. But then, that's not so much Vaughn as it was Roenick, he's good.
