Sega's open world action-adventure PlayStation 4 game "Yakuza 6" has debuted new trailer, and in it, Japanese actors Takeshi Kitano, Shun Oguri, and Tatsuya Fujiwara are heavily featured.
The new trailer focuses on the story side of the game, and reveals the release date for the game in Japan. Fans may already recognize Kitano, who made an appearance in last year's teaser, while newcomers Oguri have been featured in "Crows Zero" and "Great Teacher Onizuka," while Fujiwara may be familiar from his roles in "Battle Royale" and "Death Note."
Sega's "Yakuza 6" was first announced during last year's Tokyo Game Show for a release in Japan. The game's fifth iteration, however, was released in the United States three years after it debuted in Japan, so fans are definitely weary about the long wait for the upcoming game.
"Yakuza 6" is set to be released on December 8 in Japan, and hopefully next year for North America. There's no official word on when it will arrive on this side of the world, but gamers are keeping their fingers crossed that they won't have to wait three years for the game to arrive on our shores.
Meanwhile, fans are speculating that "Yakuza 5" will be included in PlayStation's list of free games for August. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the official announcement will arrive today, so fans should keep their fingers crossed for a free "Yakuza 5" treat. Check out the full list of new games coming this August here. The games will be made available for free download on August 2.
Some of the highly anticipated games to arrive this August include "No Man’s Sky," "Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 1 ‘Realm of Shadows,’" "Madden NFL 17," "Attack on Titan" and "Resident Evil 4." For more information on the free games coming this August, visit playstation.com.
