Since we got very little in the way of zombie satisfaction (zombisfaction? I like it) with Treyarch's recent trailer, it seems they've seen fit to release a couple screenshots of the undead for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's zombie mode.
You've got the most unbelievable blue eyes I've ever seen. You've got, me almost melt away ...whoop, sorry. Had to go Donna Lewis for a moment.
Treyarch has confirmed that the Zombies mode will return for Black Ops II with its own campaign, making it the third time players will fight off zombies. The difference here is that Black Ops II's Zombie mode will have its own campaign along with the main story, a first for the Call of Duty series.
Unlike so many horror movies, the campaign will actually address the origin of the zombie affliction, and how the hungry horde came to be.
Treyarch has also confirmed that more players will be able to play the Zombie mode with a group of friends. Compared with previous Call of Dutys, where only four could play co-op, Black Ops 2's Zombie mode will support up to 8 players. Treyarch announced in August 2012 that Nuketown would be remade as a zombie map for those buying Hardened or Care Package Edition of Black Ops 2.
Treyarch should have more news on the zombies tomorrow, when Call of Duty: Black Ops II's Zombie mode officially premieres tomorrow. Call of Duty: Black Ops II is scheduled to release on PC, PS3, and XBox 360 on November 13. A release is also planned for the Nintendo Wii U.
