August is just around the corner and Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers will want to know what free games they can look forward to. The four game titles have been revealed for Xbox Live Gold members, two of which will be available starting Aug. 1.
The free games for the coming month were revealed via Majornelson.com.
Xbox One free games for August
For the Xbox One owners, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to two titles for the month. First up is “Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate” ($59.99) which will be available the whole month of August.
The second game is “WWE 2K16” ($39.99) which will be offered starting Aug. 16 and run until Sept. 15.
Xbox 360 free games for August
For the Xbox 360 owners, Xbox Live Gold members can get “Spelunky” ($19.99) from Aug. 1 to 15. After that, “Beyond Good & Evil HD” ($14.99) picks up starting Aug. 16 to 31.
“Warriors Orochi 3” is shaping up to be one of the good games to check out. It scored high with IGN (8.5) when the Ultimate edition came out. Among the thing to look forward to the hack ‘n’ slash game is the number of characters paired with good graphics.
“WWE 2K16” scored higher, with an 8.8 and is the highly touted version that bumped up the roster of stars that hit well with gamers.
The Xbox 360 offers a couple of modern classics with “Spelunky” and “Beyond Good & Evil HD”, both of which can be also played on the Xbox One via the backwards compatibility route.
While waiting, Xbox Live Gold members can get one last chance to avail of the present game titles. Those are “The Banner Saga 2” and “Tron Evolution” which are up for grabs until July 31.
