"Criminal Minds" Season 12 has a recurring star that will help the FBI to catch the deadly 13 serial killers that managed to escape the jail. The executive producer Erica Messer announced that Paget Brewster is set to be back in the American drama series during Fan Favorite Panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.
Once again, fans will see Paget Brewster as Emily Prentiss to join the Behavioral Analysis Unit as an FBI supervisory special agent in "Criminal Minds" Season 12.
"We're excited to have Paget Brewster back for multiple episodes in our 12th season. The BAU can use more help this year since they've got a lot of known and unknown subjects to catch," Erica Messer said as noted by Entertainment Weekly.
Later, Paget Brewster confirmed her return in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 on her Twitter page.
"Yes! I'm shooting a whole bunch of episodes this year @CrimMinds_CBS! And it was so damn hard not telling you," Paget Brewster captioned her snap featuring a pair of boots and an Interpol ID from "Criminal Minds" Season 12.

Meanwhile, aside from Paget Brewster, Aisha Tyler is also set to be back in "Criminal Minds" Season 12 to reprise her role as Dr. Tara Lewis.
CBS has yet to announce if Paget Brewster will be once again a series regular in "Criminal Minds" Season 12.
