With Finn Balor losing his WWE NXT Championship to Samoa Joe back in April, everyone knew that it will only be a matter of time for the longest reigning NXT Champion of 292 days to make his debut onto WWE's main roster, the big question is when?
"The Demon" has arrived to "Raw"
And the burning question is answered today on the July 25th episode of WWE Raw at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Balor made his main roster debut on the first match of the night in a fatal 4-way match against Kevin Owens, Cesaro and current United States Champion Rusev.
As Finn Balor made his entrance, the cropped popped the loudest for the night as they welcome biggest debutant of WWE Raw. Balor continued to win the fatal 4-way match with a Coup de Grace to Rusev to cap off the match.
As soon as learning that his opponent for the main event for the right to face Seth Rollins at Summerslam for the new WWE Universal Championship belt. Raw's 5th pick did not waste any chance in making the WWE universe understand why he's here and he's in the main event against the perennial baby face Roman Reigns.
Next is an enjoyable match between two of the best performers in WWE today. Finn Balor and Roman Reigns traded, pin-fall after pin-fall, punches and kicks with Finn showing off his high octane and agile skillset that made NXT such a watchable brand in WWE.
The former NXT Champ was able to take the former World Champion's brand of physical in your face power offense. Balor countered Reigns spear attempt with the Sling Blade and pulled out a corner dropkick, finishing Reigns off with the Coup de Grace.
And "The Demon" ended Monday Night Raw with Michael Cole saying "Happy birthday Finn Balor!"
