iOS 10 Latest News, Release Date & Update: More Trouble For Jailbreakers As Apple Starts Seeding Public Betas

iOS 10 Latest News and Release Date: More Trouble For Jailbreakers As Apple Starts Seeding Public Betas

Not long after Apple released the final version of iOS 9.3.3, the Cupertino company wasted no time seeing public beta versions of the iOS 10 and the macOS Sierra. Both are now out for users to try on their devices.

This means that all Macs, iPhones and iPads can load and see what the beta versions have to offer. The iOS 10 public beta 2 is about 311 MB OTA which can be downloaded by anyone who is enrolled to Apple’s beta program. The same holds true for the macOS Sierra which can be checked out at the App Store.

While the public release is something that should give Apple users a glimpse of the things to come, developers are one up over them. Devs can get hold of the beta 3 for both operating system before the final ones are released in the Fall.

iOS 10 warns users of impending water threat

A feature that has been making round to date has something to do with waterproofing. According to ZDNet, iOS 10 pops up warnings in the event that the Lightning port has water.

The report further adds that this feature is limited to the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus and SE. It remains to be seen if the upcoming iPhone 7 will have it as well once the new flagship debuts in a couple of months.

More woes for iOS jailbreakers

With Apple moving forward with the iOS 10 public beta 2, Pangu and/or TaiG are on the clock. With no iOS jailbreak to show, the coming of iOS 10 seems to be on course for its September release. Will the jailbreakers manage to save face with their touted cracks in time?

Hence, that could mean any iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak intentions are numbered with focus on the iOS 10 seen to be a better recourse. Much of that was tackled in a previous post.
