'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Dylan O'Brien To Appear In Only 2 Episodes? Stiles To Be Played By Different Actor?

Dylan O'Brien fans recently celebrated when an image of the actor on the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 set was unveiled. Or will the character have less screentime when the show returns on MTV?

Dylan O'Brien "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Photo Was An Old Image, Actor Still Hasn't Started Filming?

GamenGuide reported that "Teen Wolf" Season 6 showrunner Jeff Davis had announced that there will be more of Stiles when the MTV show returns. However, it was also revealed that the picture of Dylan O'Brien on set was taken before he sustained his "Maze Runner 3" injury.

The news was not taken lightly by Dylan O'Brien fans. One source noted that Jeff Davis only confirmed Stiles will appear in two episodes, which are the first and last of "Teen Wolf" Season 6A. In addition to that, it looks like O'Brien has not yet returned to filming since his "Maze Runner 3" accident. So does this mean that another actor will be playing Stiles?

Will Dylan O'Brien Resume Filming "Teen Wolf" Season 6? Or Will The Show Use A Different Actor?

Several TV shows have used body doubles for their main actors. In "Game of Thrones", another actress did Cersei Lannister's Walk of Shame before Lena Headey's face was digitally imposed on her head. Will "Teen Wolf" Season 6 do the same thing for Dylan O'Brien's performance as Stiles?

There is still no word on Dylan O'Brien's condition following the "Maze Runner 3" accident. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that there will be an update on the actor's recovery and that he will resume filming for "Teen Wolf" Season 6.

"Teen Wolf" Season 6A will air on MTV this fall.
