"Captain America: Civil War" could be considered the most serious Marvel Cinematic Universe flick so far. However, it did have some light moments, thanks to Paul Rudd's Scott Lang and Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Needless to say, the scene where Spider-Man takes on Giant Man was one of the most entertaining sequences in "Captain America 3".
Andy Park Reveals Awesome Giant Man Vs. Spider-Man Concept Art For "Captain America: Civil War"
So it was a welcome sight when Andy Park shared some awesome "Civil War" concept art on Twitter. The Marvel Studio lead concept artist recently posted the MCU Giant Man vs. Spider-Man art. In addition to that, he revealed that he geeked out over the idea of the two superhero insects duking it out in the film.

Fans understandably loved Andy Park's concept art. Some even believe it looks better than the real thing in "Captain America: Civil War". That is, until io9 reminded everyone why they didn't like Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the MCU film.
Tom Holland's Spider-Man Isn't "Geek" Enough For Marvel Geeks?
Remember when Spider-Man tried to get Team Iron Man to work together to bring down Giant Man? The webslinger made a reference to "that really old movie, 'Empire Strikes Back'" and called AT-ATs "walking thingies."
The comment was pretty hilarious when paired up with Tony Stark's statement about carbon-dating. However, some MCU fans were not amused by the new Spider-Man's "Star Wars" ignorance.
Some believed that Peter Parker is a nerd who would at least know the correct term for the "walking thingies" or that that ice planet is Hoth. Overall, MCU fans seemed to have discovered a newfound hate for Spider-Man who should be smarter than he appeared in "Captain America: Civil War".
What do you think of Spider-Man's "Star Wars" reference in "Captain America: Civil War"? Was it an unusual line for the character? Let us know in the comments.
