"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" Gets a New Trailer (Watch it Here!)

The furry footed father of Frodo (try saying that five times fast) is offering folks another peek at his upcoming adventure, and just in time too. In celebration of Tolkien Week, Warner Bros. let loose a new trailer for Tolkien-o-philes for "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey." Check it out below!

The timing truly couldn't be better. Not only is it Tolkien Week, but this coming September 21 marks the 75th anniversary since "The Hobbit" was first published. That's a lot of second breakfasts.

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" sees many celebrities returning to reprise their roles from Peter Jackson's first "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, including Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Ian McKellen, and more. Martin Freeman replaces Ian Holm as a younger Bilbo Baggins, though Holm as an aged Bilbo will be seen.

Originally planned as two films, Jackson later announced plans to expand the two into a new trilogy in July. Following "An Unexpected Journey," Bilbo's adventures will continue in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," and closing with "The Hobbit: There and Back Again."

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" hits theatres December 14, with the sequels "The Desolation of Smaug" and "There And Back Again" arriving in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
