With a "Persona 5" release date already set this September, Japanese gamers are way ahead of the rest in experiencing the role-playing title from Altus. There is no other way around it, players from the rest of the world will have to rely on Japanese gamers experience to asses "Persona 5" characters and gameplay.
North American gamers will follow their Japanese counterpart with a scheduled "Persona 5" release date next year. While no launch date for the rest has been set, Altus was kind enough to tease everyone else by releasing a footage revealing some "Persona 5" characters and gameplay.
There is a apparently a set of "Persona 5" characters that are non-playable but would be useful to players in finishing their missions. They are called Cooperation Characters and is an integral part to the "Persona 5" gameplay. Possessing special skills, it would be best to get in their good graces and establish some co-op relationship with these characters when "Persona 5" release date arrives, according to Gematsu.
Cooperation "Persona 5" Character -Hifumi Togo
Voiced by Tomoni Isomura, Togo is a champion of the Female Shogi League. Players would be seeing more of this coop character when "Persona 5" release date comes because she also attends at the Kosei Public High School.
Cooperation "Persona 5" Character - Toranosuke Yoshida
The man delivers good speeches but has so far lost all seven consecutive elections. Voiced by Keiichi Noda, players need to befriend this co-op character to have his assistance, an essential part in the overall "Persona 5" gameplay.
"Persona 5" Character (Co-op) - Sadayo Kawakami
She is a teacher at Syigin High School and is voiced by Mai Fuchigami. Players would likely see her often by the time "Persona 5" release date arrives because she handles Class 2-B, the class where protagonist Anne and Mishima are in.
"Persona 5" Character (Co-op) - Chihaya Mifune
Voiced by Miyu Matsuki, Mifune rans a fotune-telling stand in Shinjuku and is an expert in tarot. She could be a valuable part of a player's "Persona 5" gameplay as she is said to be a genuine fortune-teller.
Cooperative "Persona 5" Character - Yuki Mishima
Mishima also goes to school at the Syujin High School and is voice by Daisuke Sakaguchi. In fact, he is Anne's classmate so players will get to see him often when "Persona 5" release date comes. MIshima is also a member of the school's Volleyball Club.
"Persona 5" Character (Co-op) - Shinya Oda
Voiced by Aki Kanada, Shinya is an elementary boy known as the boy genius player on a gun shooting game. Players could harness the boy's via a Co-op arrangement, a necessary strategy in the "Persona 5" gameplay.
"Persona 5" Character (Co-op) - Ichiko Oya
Ichiko Oya is a new reporter who writes any story that sells. Voiced by Yumi Uchiyama, players are most likely to run into her when "Persona 5" releases. And it is said she's not that shy in rearranging information to get the best scoop.

The game launches ahead in Japan this coming September 15, 2016. For North America, its release is scheduled on February 14, 2017. For the rest of the markets, no "Persona 5" release date has yet been set.
