It's no secret that fans were frustrated when CBS dropped "Limitless" and Netflix and Amazon didn't pick "Limitless" Season 2 up when it was shopped to these outlets. So when Netflix streamed "Limitless" Season 1 in their service, fans took this as an opportunity to show their support for the show.
Will Netflix finally hear what the fans want and pick "Limitless" Season 2 up or will they just stream "Limitless" Season one and when it ends they just move on to another TV series?
'Limitless' Season 2: Fans' Demands May Lead To A Sequel?
Despite an unreliable report stating that "Limitless" Season 2 has already been picked up by Netflix, there was no actual report to back this up.
Netflix did pick "Limitless" up but it was only the first season, which means that the fate of "Limitless" Season 2 is still unknown.

"Limitless" showrunner Craig Sweeny took to Twitter to remind everyone to watch "Limitless" Season 1 on Netflix, saying: "Check out #limitless on @netflix. 9/10 youths agree: it's 'lit af.'"

This was probably the basis of the unreliable report to conclude that "Limitless" Season 2 was picked up by Netflix, not realizing that the "Limitless" showrunner was talking about "Limitless" Season 1 and not "Limitless" Season 2.

Earlier this year CBS released a statement that all of its first-year shows will be given second-season offer.
With "Supergirl" being renewed at The CW, many "Limitless" fans were hoping that the show will have that same chance as well.
But, no.
