The upcoming Destiny installment, "Rise of Iron," is currently in development. Bungie recently featured new equipment for warlocks.
A Bungie Twitter post about the Destiny: Rise of Iron installment stated that the new gear for Warlocks is fit for an Iron Lord. Previously, Bungie also presented some of the Destiny Rise of Iron gear for Hunters.
GameSpot noted that the new Destiny Rise of Iron warlock gear includes a full helmet, and chest, leg and arm pieces. The equipment were visually attractive, although some thought that the Hunter pieces were more imposing.
The variation is understandable, considering how warlocks play a different role in battle. Bungie will also bring back the powerful Gjallarhorn weapon, more quests, a new raid, boosts in the maximum light level, and Crucible maps in the DLC pack.
Compared to the "Destiny Rise of Iron" Hunter set, the warlock items appear more regal with accents like fur and the crown-like helmet. The Hunter equipment featured a sleeker appearance with accents like a hood and cloak.
The "Destiny Rise of Iron" expansion is the fourth downloadable content pack for the RPG-shooter hybrid by Bungie. The set will also be the final expansion before the game launches a full sequel sometime in 2017.
It has almost been one year since the game featured a full-sized update, so fans will certainly be delighted with the recent release of the "Destiny Rise of Iron" DLC pack. The last three expansions were The Taken King, House of Wolves and The Dark Below.
On July 20, 2016, Bungie is also slated to present the "Destiny Rise of Iron" Expansion via a live stream. Although not a lot of details were hinted about the live stream, players expect to find out more about the DLC's missions, gear, NPCs and Social Spaces.
The game developer will also discuss and feature Cosmodrome changes. The event appears to be a standard "Destiny Rise of Iron" live stream.
Polygon noted that the story of the Activision-published "Destiny Rise of Iron" focuses on the battle between the Fallen and the Guardians who are both trying to take hold of The Last City in Old Russia. Players are required to own the third expansion to play the "Destiny Rise of Iron" pack.
"Destiny: Rise of Iron" will officially release on Sept. 20, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox, although it will not be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Pre-ordering is already available. More updates and details are expected in the coming weeks.
