Want a Free Copy of Borderlands 2? Just Jump Off a Crane

2K Games have introduced the ultimate bid to demonstrate just how psycho a person can be for Borderlands 2. They're inviting all comers to bungee jump to win a free copy of the game. So should you happen to find yourself in England with a wanting for a copy of Gearbox's shooter-RPG, then when Sunday, September 23 rolls around, head over to Ely's Yard, Brick Lane, London, as all are invited to put their mettle to the test and take the plunge from a specially designed Borderlands 2 bungee crane.

Ben Lawrence, UK PR Manager 2K Games said, "We want to provide an afternoon of extreme fun and discover just how psycho Borderlands 2 fans can get. A bungee jump is the perfect way to truly test your nerves and we're excited to bring the insane pleasure of the game into the real world!"

Jumps will be operated on a first-come first-served basis and take place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Old Truman Brewery, London, on September 23.

Of course it's held at a brewery. Nothing like a little liquid courage to encourage jumping off a perfectly sturdy platform.

I guess it's a decent way to get a copy of the game if you didn't pre-order a copy. So, if you like the concept of rewarding a death leap with a copy of a videgame, by all means, saunter on down and give it a go. Or a jump, as it were.

Or, you could just buy the game. Borderlands 2 is available internationally on September 21, and is out tomorrow in the US.
