Dylan O'Brien fans recently rejoiced when a picture of the actor on the set of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 finally surfaced. Everyone was greatly relieved to see that the "Maze Runner 3" star is feeling well enough to film some scenes as Stiles. But is it possible that the picture does not depict O'Brien's current condition?
Dylan O'Brien Is Officially Back As Stiles In "Teen Wolf" Season 6?
The first look at Dylan O'Brien back in action offers a behind-the-scenes look at Stiles in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. The actor appears to be wearing a hand brace under his shirt, a possible souvenir from his "Maze Runner 3" accident.
However, it has been confirmed that Dylan O'Brien did not need the hand brace after his "Maze Runner 3" accident. In fact, that accident hasn't happened yet when the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 picture was taken!
Dylan O'Brien "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Photo Is A Hoax?
Well, not a complete hoax, anyway. The picture is definitely of Dylan O'Brien filming a scene as Stiles for "Teen Wolf" Season 6. However, Entertainment Weekly also pointed out that the image was taken BEFORE the actor got injured on the set of "Maze Runner 3".
But why is Dylan O'Brien wearing a hand brace? According to "Teen Wolf" showrunner Jeff Davis, the actor hurt his arm prior to the "Maze Runner 3" accident and the injury got "written into the show."
What happens to Stiles in "Teen Wolf" Season 6? Fans will not have to wait long to find out, Davis promised. "You'll see what happens with that in the first episode," the showrunner teased.
So Where Is Dylan O'Brien And When Will He Start Filming For "Teen Wolf" Season 6?
Stiles fans can relax; although there is still no word on Dylan O'Brien's current condition, "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will definitely feature an important role for Stiles. Hopefully, there will be an update on O'Brien's health when "Teen Wolf" takes the stage at the San Diego Comic-Con.
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 will air on MTV this fall.
