“Marco Polo” season 3 has yet to get any form of confirmation and such has left many viewers hanging.
Game and Guide did touch on the events that occurred in season 2, focusing on doing honorable and rightful decisions that included controversial revelations. Aside from that, in focus was what could be happening next following the death of Princess Kokachin (Zhu Zhu). You can go through that post once more here.
Will there be a third season?
While new twists have been seeded by Marco Polo season 2, the immediate concern of most is whether a third season is forthcoming. Netflix has yet to make an official announcement for the series and the suspense has left many wondering if ever a new season would come.
The only thing that Marco Polo fans can hold on to right now is that announcement claiming that the series would return. Unfortunately that claim did not include Netflix which is where the confusion stems.
Kublai Khan’s demise
It is believed that with the rise of a new threat, Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong) will meet his death in season 3. But the question now is how all that will happen. Will it be tied up to that rumor claiming that Prester John will be the new threat?
What lies ahead for Marco Polo, Prince Jingrim?
Following the death of Princess Kokachin, equally interesting would be the state of mind of both Marco Polo (Lorenzo Richelmy) and Prince Jingrim (Remy Hii). How will these two deal with the loss and what does season 3 have in store for the two?
As mentioned earlier, there are a lot of loose ends from season 2 which may account for an entirely new plot for season 3. Right now the future of Marco Polo is 50-50 and the fate of season 3 will entirely fall in the hands of Netflix.
