Electronic Arts (EA) announced over the weekend that "Rogue One: Scarif" will be "Star Wars: Battlefront's" last DLC to be released alongside the spinoff film later this year. More so, EA also unveiled the latest expansion "Death Star," which will see the arrival of two new characters.
The 'Death Star' Expansion
According to Tech Times, EA announced their latest updates on "Star Wars: Battlefront" during their Star Wars panel at the Star Wars Celebration 2016 in London over the weekend.
With the confirmation of the "Death Star" DLC also comes the announcement of bounty hunter Bossk and Chewbacca joining the game's list.
Aside from the announcement of the new characters for "Star Wars: Battlefront," EA also unveiled three new maps. The maps will feature battles taking place inside and outside the "Death Star."
Additionally, EA also revealed that there will be new vehicles in the "Death Star" expansion. "Star Wars: Battlefront" fans get to enjoy TIE Bombers and Star Cards along with blasters.

Aside from the new characters and the new maps, the "Death Star" expansion will also feature close quarters combat taking place within the hallways of the "Death Star." Additionally, the third DLC for "Star Wars: Battlefront" will see more of space battles reminiscent of "Star Wars: A New Hope."
The "Death Star" will be the third major expansion after "Outer Rim" and "Bespin."
'Rogue One: Scarif,' The Last Expansion
Meanwhile, EA also confirmed rumors of "Rogue One: Scarif" as "Star Wars: Battlefront's" last expansion, Polygon said. In time for the spinoff film, the last DLC will be launched sometime in winter the report said.
Scarif is described as a new world in the Star Wars Universe, where a major battle took place in "Rogue One." This will be the prime location of the last expansion for "Star Wars: Battlefront."
"Rogue One: Scarif" will reportedly follow the same plot with the spinoff film. Season Pass holders will get to access the expansion two weeks in advance.
