Tom Clancy's 'The Division' Latest News & Update: PvP Weapon Damage Now Up 20%; Dragon's Nest Gets More Kill Volumes

Tom Clancy's "The Division" underwent a three-hour maintenance on July 14, 2016 that introduced a few adjustments to the gameplay. The game also had its scheduled weekly maintenance on July 12, which provided several bug fixes.

The latest update of Tom Clancy's "The Division" arrived a couple of weeks before the scheduled launch of its "Underground" expansion on Aug. 2, 2016.

PlayStationLifestyle reported that "The Division" July 14 update featured two new changes. The first modified PvP weapon damage modifier, allowing players to deal about 20 percent more weapon damage against each other.

The change in "The Division" will not affect skill damage, however. The second adjustment added more kill volumes to the Dragon's Nest map. Characters who exit the map area will automatically be killed.

In another PlayStationLifestyle report, the July 12 "The Division" scheduled maintenance provided several bug fixes. The update reduced the base damage of all G36 Assault Rifles by 15 percent.

"The Division" update fixed a bug where named weapons cannot have their talents recalibrated.

A "The Division" bug where the Megamap would not open for certain players was fixed. Other "The Division" fixes included a bug where using the Evacuation Point in Underground before the new Objective Notification comes out caused the mission UI to break, and a bug where the AlphaBridge Gloves can miss some of their attributes.

The change will have retroactive effect, which will adjust all attributes on existing AlphaBridge gloves.

The July 12 "The Division" maintenance fixed a bug where the game music will completely stop when logging out while within an Incursion. Other bug fixes in "The Division" include where recalibrating the last Talent on the PP-19 submachinegun does not result to a free Talent.

It also includes where the Sentry Gear Set bonus will not properly apply while using The Showstopper automatic shotgun, where using a Signature Skill can result to the visual effect being applied to all adjacent players, and not merely group members and where weapon talents can indefinitely stack using the Alpha-Bridge Gear Set 4-piece bonus.

Other fixes in "The Division" update include a bug where recalibrating weapon talents results to a random bonus, instead of the bonus chosen in the UI, a bug where players die while returning to certain missions after they respawn in a safe house and a bug where PC players can use several consumables simultaneously.

More updates on Tom Clancy's "The Division" are expected soon.
