Mass Effect 3 New Single Player DLC Content Revealed?

An entourage of Krogan, Batarians, Turians, Humans and Asari emerged onto the streets of the space station. Omega is overrun with armed Cerberus operatives on every corner, fidgeting in their black and yellow armor. Aria T'Loak's violet complexion glistened in the neon lights of club Afterlife, the infamous Pirate Queen of Omega has returned to claim her rightful property.

And hopefully for us gamers, Commander Shepard will be joining her on this reclamation mission. A teaser image at Montreal Comic Con seems to suggest a new single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3.

Comments form attendees of the event on websites Reddit and BioWare's social forums, describe an image of Commander Shepard staring at an unidentified red object that looks similar to the Omega space station. Some commentors believe the object to be a Collector's ship, which would mean Mass Effect 2's main antagonist have returned.

Pictures have emerged online of the image, but are far too blurry to distinguish what the red object is. Back in August, Eurogamer spotted chatter on a Bioware forum thread, which contains a link to Pastebin with new script lines that were discovered in the Firefight DLC and referred to an upcoming DLC pack that would be centered on the villainous and cultural melting pot, Omega.

During Mass Effect 3, Cerberus occupies Omega and leaves Aria stranded on the Citdel. In the game, Aria's dialogue hints at her desire to undergo a mission to retake the space station from the Illusive Man. But discarded dialogue and maps from within Mass Effect 3's game files all but confirmed that this mission would one day become DLC.

If the speculation and rumors turnout to be true, the Omega DLC will be the third single-player DLC released for Mass Effect 3 since the game's release. The Leviathan DLC was released just last month and revealed new details about the Reapers. You can read our review of Leviathan here. The new DLC has been named read about it here.
