The return of "Bourne" in the box office has been highly anticipated by the fans and followers of the suspense and action filled movie series. Also, Matt Damon returns to reprise his role in "Jason Bourne 5" and has expressed his thoughts regarding the role of "James Bond" and what he feels about it.
It appears that the rumors surrounding the decision of the former "James Bond," Daniel Craig and his decision to move on to a different league has sparked much speculations and it even reached the halls of "Jason Bourne 5."
It stands to reason that there are some rumors indicating the possibility of Matt Damon becoming the new Bond but there have been affirmations from both ends. According to a former post from the Independent, Damon prefers to appear in "Jason Bourne 5" rather than in characterizing "James Bond."
Even the mighty Jon Snow played by Kit Harington was also plagued by the queries regarding the possibility of becoming the next bond, but as for Matt Damon, he has fully expressed that he wants to appear in "Jason Bourne 5" and be filled with happiness rather than playing the spy filled film, "James Bond."
As cited by GQ, Damon said, "Bond has the values of the 1960s, and that character is a misogynist who likes swilling martinis and killing people and not giving a shit." It seems that Damon is better convinced to take on the role of Jason in the upcoming installment, "Jason Bourne 5."

For those that have seen both segments, "James Bond" and the "Bourne" series, it could be presumed that Matt Damon might be effective in playing the part but for Damon that is not something that he aims on doing for the present.

As for the fans and followers of the "Bourne" legacy, the upcoming sequel, "Jason Bourne 5," is slated for release in the UK cinemas on July 27, 2016.
