"The Flash" Season 3 is officially shooting, and it looks like Grant Gustin's Barry Allen will be up against another evil speedster! Luckily, he will be getting some help from Keiynan Lonsdale's Kid Flash. But who is this new nemesis? Is it DC's evil Black Flash? If so, things could get complicated, if the show is still following the "Flashpoint" comic book storyline.
"The Flash" Season 3 Set Photos Confirm Kid Flash And ... Black Flash?
ComicBook has found awesome pictures from the set of "The Flash" Season 3 showing Keiynan Lonsdale in his Kid Flash suit. However, it looks like he is walking alongside another speedster in a black suit.

Fans of the comic books immediately speculated that the speedster is Black Flash, and he will be the main villain in "The Flash" Season 3. After all, Black Flash has an interesting role in "Flashpoint".
Who Is Black Flash In "The Flash" Season 3?
According to the ComicBook report, the actor playing the speedster is Todd Lasance from "The Vampire Diaries". Although the identity of the character has not yet been confirmed, there are rumors that he will portray Black Flash. If he does, "The Flash" Season 3 is in for an interesting storyline.
In the DC comic books, Black Flash acts as the Grim Reaper of speedsters. Incidentally, he repeatedly came for Wally West, who managed to defeat him in a race (spoiler). However, Black Flash made an appearance in "Flashpoint" and it didn't end too well for Wally.

Will Black Flash Kill Wally West In "The Flash" Season 3?
In "Flashpoint", Bart Allen takes on the mantle of Kid Flash. In an effort to save Patty Spivot, he runs through time and ends up becoming Black Flash. During his transformation, he kills Wally West, Jay Garrick and Max Mercury. That said, Black Flash is not a good sign for Wally West in "The Flash" Season 3.
"The Flash" Season 3 will air on The CW on October 4.
