Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Charles Barkley wandered onto the court in their white USA basketball uniforms. Jordan looks intense; his normally glowing white smile is hidden behind his game time scowl. He nods his head and takes a glanced at Charles Barkley, who is warming up by dunking the ball ferociously across the floor, completely absorbed in the emotions of the game. Johnson is casually strolling across the court. He is loose and ready to play.
On to the court comes the upstart Kobe Bryant, who has surpassed Michael Jordan as the NBA All-Star game's greatest scorer. Bryant broke Jordan's record of 262 points on a dunk with 4:57 left in the third quarter of this year's All-Star game. He is followed onto the court by several young current generation NBA Stars, Chris Paul Carmelo Anthony and current reigning NBA champion Lebron James.
The whistle blows and the tip-off commences, as usually Jordan was the architect of his team's offensive prowess. Jordan had 31 points to Bryant's' 20 point performance. Ultimately this game would come down to the two men of different eras.
With 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter and Jordan's team with the ball and down by 1-point, the two generational forces collide. Jordan goes to his right then back to his left. Kobe stays with him not giving an inch of the floor away. The clock is down to two seconds remaining and Jordan leaps into the air for a pull-up shot. The ball sails towards the basket and the trailer fades to black.
