Marvel 'Civil War II' Comics Reveals The Death Of Another Avenger

The "Civil War II #3" comic launched on July 13, 2016 which may sadden fans due to the death of another Avenger.

Previously, War Machine and She-Hulk went down. The third issue of "Civil War II" featured the demise of The Incredible Hulk.

New York Daily News first reported that Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk died at the hands of his teammate, Hawkeye. In the story, Banner gave the archer a special arrow that he could use to destroy the Hulk in the event that he goes on an unstoppable rampage.

The heartbreaking revelation in "Civil War II" was although Hawkeye thought that it was best to finally use the arrow against The Hulk, Banner was actually treating himself to manage his anger better, which means that the arrow may not have been necessary at the time.

Brian Michael Bendis, writer of the Civil War II series, said that fans will most likely be outraged and there may also be Hawkeye fans who will be offended by the new story. He said that he will allow people to argue about Hulk's death in "Civil War II."

However, Bendis assured readers that everything that happens in "Civil War II" is in character when they eventually discover the reasons and find that all falls squarely into place. It is also very likely that one or more Avengers will die in the Civil War II movie.

Cinema Blend noted that Marvel has actively been introducing diversity, particularly among the "Civil War II" Avengers. The original Incredible Hulk was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1962.

A new Hulk has surfaced recently, whose alter ego is Amadeus Cho, a Korean-American teenage genius. Other new and younger members of the team include a female Thor, the black Falcon who took on the mantle of Captain America, and an African-American female teenage Iron Man.

In the meantime, fans should not be too quick to believe that The Incredible Hulk, as well as other deceased characters in "Civil War II," will be out for good. Superheroes in the Marvel comic books have a huge tendency to be resurrected in one way or another.

Previously, Captain American and Spider-Man were killed off, and then returned after one year. Bendis said that at the moment, The Hulk is dead in "Civil War II." He cannot discuss what comes in the future but he already has plans for the body in upcoming Civil War II issues.

More updates and details on the "Civil War II" comics are expected soon.
