'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Latest News, Release Date & Update: Game Set To Settle On Neighboring Galaxy? What Science Has To Say About It?

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" in the new game Bioware is set to offer for its fans all around the world. The Andromeda Galaxy is just near on our Milky Way and, with regards to the game's setting, science has some say why "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is reshaping our understanding about the universe and, of course, the limitless possibilities the game can expand to its storyline.

The team, the story, and the protagonist of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" are new, as fans all knew it. But, what does it say about the game and its concept? Here is what we know so far.

'Mass Effect: Andromeda' The Andromeda Galaxy

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" reports are claiming that Andromeda and the Milky Way are not far from each other and the two are the biggest formations in the Local group of the Virgo Cluster. At a distance of 2.3 million years away, it can be sighted in the clear skies at night with the naked eye.

With both being wide in their respective sizes, the Andromeda is much bigger in diameter. The Milky Way has 300 billion stars within its gravitational whirlpool, the Andromeda has some closer to a trillion stars, according to the observations by the Spitzer Space Telescope in 2006. Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" news stated the Milky Way is just about 110,00 lights in diameter, while the Andromeda doubles that number.

The Andromeda Galaxy is somewhat of a galaxy killer, with the constant movement in the vast sea of space. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" news claimed it collided with another galaxy and stole the stars with its massive gravitational pull, creating its spiral formation 2 million years ago after its birth.

'Mass Effect: Andromeda' storyline and character

BIoware has not shown much details about how "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will carry out, just the setting. But, the developers of the game will have the liberty to design the game in an artistic fashion and, after all, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is science fiction.

It is known that it will ignore all the decisions the player made in the original "Mass Effect" series. Bioware chief Aaron Flynn told Eurogamer that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be a new game and he wants to move from the acknowledgement given at the end of "Mass Effect 3." Flynn added that it would be a hard to achieve that goal if it were related to the original trilogy.

The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer only shows the protagonist wakes up on a cryogenic sleep and oblivious to the surroundings. This only points that the shape ship used is advance enough to make an intergalactic travel to Andromeda and to figure out the Mass Relays the Reapers left before returning in the Mass Effect trilogy.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and Microsoft Windows in March 2017. For more "Mass Effect: Andromeda" news and updates, stay tuned at GamenGuide!
