'Girl Meets Josh' In Season 3
Fans have been expecting a resolution to the love triangle involving Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Riley (Rowan Blanchard) in "Girl Meets World" season 3. Spoilers reveal that Josh will be returning this third season and will stir the long-standing love triangle.
As a refresher, Maya had a big crush on Josh as seen in "Girl Meets World" season 1, Christian Times noted. The affection was still evident in the second season but took a backseat as the "Girl Meets World" season 2 came to an end.
Now, it seems that Josh may consider seeing Maya in a different light in "Girl Meets World" season 3. As hinted by writers on Twitter, Josh will take on a pivotal role that may affect the Maya-Lucas-Riley love triangle.

Three Couples In 'Girl Meets World' Season 3
With this, many fans believe that Josh may see Maya as a mature young lady in the next episodes of "Girl Meets World" season 3. Particularly, there will be some Josh-Maya moments in the "Girl Meets Ski Lodge" episode.
In another tweet, the writers of "Girl Meets World" season 3 hinted of forming three couples. "There are two couples that happen soon and then a third couple that happens because of the two couples."
Reports of Shawn (Rider Strong) proposing to Katy (Cheryl Texiera) filled the Internet last week. The other pair that writers of "Girl Meets World" may involve Riley and Lucas as Maya admits her true feelings towards Lucas.
Could the third pair be Maya and Josh that "Girl Meets World" season 3 writers hint about?
"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode "Girl Meets True Maya" will air on Friday, July 15 on Disney Channel.
