Disney definitely knows how to make a happy ending. It usually ends with the Princess finally getting her first kiss from her prince charming, but obviously that didn't happen in "Frozen."
'Frozen 2': Elsa's true love's kiss
"Frozen" kind of actually broke all the rules. The love story was focused on the younger sister (Anna) of the lead Princess (Elsa, who eventually became the Queen of Arendelle).
Unlike Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Snow White and all the other Disney Princesses, Queen Elsa didn't get the chance to fall in love in "Frozen."
Elsa was too busy worrying about her uncontrollable powers that she wasn't actually looking for a Prince (or a King for that matter) in "Frozen," but will things change in "Frozen 2"?
With all the rumors swirling regarding "Frozen 2," the highly-anticipated animated movie is expected to shift the story from Anna and Kristoff to Elsa and her alleged new love interest.
Although Disney has not commented on this matter, if this is indeed true then it is exciting that Elsa may finally get her true love's kiss in "Frozen 2."
Will 'Frozen 2' focus more on Elsa's love life?
"Frozen" is one of the blockbuster animated movies that Disney ever created.
But he popularity of "Frozen" may somehow be a curse for "Frozen 2" because there's a chance that "Frozen 2" will not reach the expectations of the fans.
And because of these high expectations, a lot of angles are being considered for the "Frozen 2" storyline.
Since "Frozen" focused more on Queen Elsa and Princess Anna's relationship as sisters, "Frozen 2" is said to set its focal point in Elsa's own relationship with herself and viewers will get to understand her sexuality.
As of now, these are all "Frozen 2" speculations and nothing was confirmed by Disney.
'Frozen 2' faces delay?
Ecumenical News reports that Disney's CEO Robert Iger noted that the "Frozen 2" team is not hurrying things up. They want to provide viewers with excellent storyline and animation that we may not be able to see "Frozen 2" as early as we want.
"We're not demanding speed, We're demanding excellence," Robert Iger said of "Frozen 2."
