'Spider-Man: Homecoming' News: New Photos And Video From The Set [VIDEO]

Everybody can't wait for "Spider-Man: Homecoming," the second reboot of Marvel's arguably most popular superhero. We've already seen Tom Holland portray the swinging webcrawler in "Captain America: Civil War," and have to wait one more year for his stand-alone movie. Today, however, we've gotten new behind-the-scenes looks into the movie's filming, and these photos and a video are sure to whet fan's appetites.

GamesRadar reports a video taken by local Atlanta reporter Mike Petchenik and posted on Twitter, in which Tom Holland's Spider-Man is catching what looks like a thief for a scene and, uh, stealing his bike? We don't know what the full context is in this particular scene, so we'll have to wait a little while longer for anything more.

What's interesting, however, is that it seems as though Atlanta will stand in for New York City (either partly or completely) in "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

There are other photos of this particular "Spider-Man: Homecoming" scene being shot over on GamesRadar.

Judging from four photos, it seems as though the movie will largely retain the costume design debuted in "Civil War," with perhaps just a few minor tweaks to the design. Otherwise, it's looking pretty good. Meanwhile, in other Marvel Cinematic Universe news, "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2" has just finished filming, while "Thor: Ragnarok" is still in the middle of their production.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming," starring Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei (reprising her role from "Civil War" as Aunt May, Michael Keaton (as a villain still undisclosed), Donald Glover, Zendaya (as Peter Parker's love interest), and Robert Downey, Jr. also reprising his role as Tony Stark, is scheduled for release on July 7 next year.
